I am so excited to be part of this amazing experience again! Some of my friends have asked me, "Did you like it THAT much?" They must have heard the story of the hike! The answer is a resounding YES. I absolutely loved working with the women, both from the tribe, as well as the women of Grace. It was truly an act of God that I went last time. From Julie's lack of ability to obtain a passport which allowed her to listen to the whisper that she wasn't supposed to go, to the amazing speed and ease of ME obtaining a passport, to the plane ticket mix-up that allowed Rich to take me to the airport, to, well every aspect was an act of God. My going was imperative to my personal growth to be able to deal with the changes our family has had to go through. He has been with us every step of the way.
Well, we will be posting often to let everyone know how preparations are going. Right now we are taking donations of 100% cotton fabric, twin flat sheets, as well as, scrapbook paper. We will update our list as needs arise and are filled.
Thank you so much,
Maggie
